Switch off the PSU, take anti static measure.

The PSU and CPU fans should start, the PSU fan may stop if it is as a 'silent' one, but the CPU fan should keep spinning. Switch on the PSU and with a small screwdriver tip, briefly bridge the 2 power on pins located on the front panel header. Remove the MB and sit it on top of the MB box.Ĭonnect the 2 main power cables, check the CPU fan is still plugged in. Remove all parts and cables from the MB,except the CPU, cooler and CPU fan plug. Switch off the PSU, but leave plugged into the socket. Please take anti static measure before handling any parts or working inside the case by touching a metal part of the chases. I suggest you do a Bare Bones test, this will tell if the CPU and MB are OK. If the CPU LED stays on steady, CPU fault, if flashes then goes out, You may have a short somewhere or a faulty CPU/MB. I need to see if the make / model is in my DS documents or if I have to climb into the case and see.If you have the two main power cables properly seated, (24v main, to the right of the board, and the auxiliary 12v, top left of the board, and the CPU fan plugged into the CPU #1 fan header, the computer fails to boot. My RTX card has some significant lighting on it so I am assuming it is RGB. I am reading all kinds of conflict betwen iCue and Mystic Light so I am not sure what to do on this. The MSI motherboard appears to be either BIOS controlled RGB or you have to download MSI Dragon Center with Mystic Light.

I have been doing research on iCue so I will probably install that at somepoint. I do not remember seeing that so I will check again and contact DS if I cannot find it. I will look for instructions concerning the remote. Thanks for the reply HockeyBuck! I believe you are correct the case fans are one color but they cycle and change in brightness so I assume they can be programmed. Does there need to be software installed for the Remote Controller to work with the case lights?ģ) What about the Corsair cooler, the MSI motherboard, GPU and case lights? Can they be controlled with the Remote or do they need separate software?Īny guidance or help would be appreciated.
